This year the 7th Ind. Light Artillery is sponsoring a FIRST TIME Civil War Reenactment at our location in Nappanee Indiana! Working in conjunction with The Barns at Nappanee and the 21st Indiana Light Artillery, we will present Days Of The Blue And The Gray. To be held June 11th, 12th & 13th 2021. This first time event will take place at our site of the former Amish Acres located on the north side of Route US 6 on the western side of Nappanee. We are very pleased to be able to offer these 67 acres of restored farm buildings, open fields, woodlots, plenty of parking, an area for demonstrations with bleacher seating, a large battlefield area, daily cannon fire, firework show and MUCH MORE!
Period style housing is also available on the grounds and will be available for both Union and Confederate command headquarters.
The re-enactors will be provided with firewood, water, straw for bedding, outhouses AND flush toilets as well as shower facilities. Also food tents and sutlers will be available.
